Hotel Information

The venue for our conference is the Ramada Inn & Conference Center in Amherst, NY, where a block of hotel rooms and meeting rooms have been reserved for us. The Ramada Inn is located adjacent to the North Campus of the University at Buffalo.

Reservations and Rates

To make reservations at the hotel, please call 716-636-7500 and indicate that you are with the UB Case Study Conference group in order to receive the special conference rate (see below).

Please Note: The deadline for making room reservations at the special conference rate is September 5, 2013. There is a limited number of rooms, so make your reservations early.

Special Conference Rate: $76.00 Standard Queen Room plus tax

Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. Check-out is 12:00 p.m. Rooms are being held for Thursday 9/19, Friday 9/20, and Saturday 9/21 (to check out Sunday).

Coming in from the Airport

You can take a cab in from the airport; the fare should be about $25 to $30 and the trip should take approximately 20 to 25 minutes. There should be cabs at the curb at the airport, or you may call Airport Taxi to send one. Their toll-free number is 1-800-551-9369. If you are staying at the Ramada, please note that the hotel has a shuttle service that operates to and from the airport. Driving Directions to the Ramada Inn

From the New York State Thruway—I-90 (Albany, NY):

Take the NYS Thruway I-90 West to Exit 50 (I-290). Take I-290 to the Millersport Highway North Exit. Continue on Millersport North to North Forest Road. Turn Left onto North Forest Road (Mobil Gas Station is on the corner) and 1/2 mile on the left is University Inn (just before the traffic light at John James Audubon Pkwy). Turn left into the driveway and continue to the Rotunda Entrance.

From the Buffalo International Airport:

Turn right out of the Airport Terminal Parking Area onto Genessee St. (Rt.33) and bear to the left. Stay on Route 33 until you see signs to I-90, New York State Thruway (approximately 1/2 mile). Take the I-90 EAST exit to Albany. Take the NYS Thruway I-90 to Exit 50 (I-290). Take I-290 to the Millersport Highway North Exit. Continue on Millersport North to North Forest Road.
