Annual Fall Conference
Join us for our annual Case Study Teaching in Science Conference, September 20-21, 2013, in Buffalo, New York.
Our conference offers sessions for both the beginner and advanced case study teacher along with a one-day "mini" track on Saturday for high school teachers. Workshop sessions this year will cover assessing student case work, incorporating issues of social responsibility into cases, teaching with case studies in a "flipped" classroom, creating video cases, and much more!
In addition to our distinguished group of workshop leaders, noted scholar and educator Dr. Teresa Balser will be addressing the general conference on "Teaching as if Learning Mattered." Dr. Balser is Dean of the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences and a Professor of Soil and Water Science at the University of Florida.
The conference registration fee is $575, which includes a buffet lunch and morning/afternoon coffee breaks on both Friday and Saturday as well as the Friday evening reception and banquet. There is also a Saturday-only registration option for $350.
Use the menu to the left to access details about the conference, including information on how you can submit a poster proposal for Friday night's poster session!
